As a director, producer, and editor, I had the privilege of helming the music video for Shenandoah’s reimagined “Sunday in the South,” featuring country superstars Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, a project that soared to No. 1 on the iTunes All Genres and Country Charts and amassed over eight million views across social media in just 48 hours, also becoming the No. 9 trending music video on YouTube. This collaboration, a modern take on Shenandoah’s 1989 No. 1 Billboard Hot Country hit, masterfully recaptured the nostalgic essence of the original while showcasing the star power of Bryan, a five-time ACM Entertainer of the Year, and Aldean, a three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year, alongside Shenandoah’s Grammy-winning legacy.
